Personally I'm sick of it and does nothing, its just like political rhetoric, providing nothing really as there is never any real questions or statements.

Think its hilarious this morning to hear everyone saying Powell was doveish as to me he sounded neutralish but people take it how they want it to be lol!!  As Rick Sanelli mentioned this morning, its ridiculous to be pricing in so many cuts next year when no one knows exactly what is going to happen in 6 months.  All of the cuts that were priced in this year didn't come to pass so the market continues to rise on the hopes so the big question is what will happen when they finally do get a cut.

Just watch the boys and girls in the futures bond pit for any insight.

Right now they're discounting 5 consecutive 1/4% cuts from September through March of next year.

Update: the Fed Watch tool is now at a 69% chance of a 1/2% cut in September...1/4% each for November and December with 1st quarter 2025 now neutral.

INTC was a bell ringing wake up call as the FED has been asleep behind the wheel for 6 months now.

New FedWatch Update from the current 5.25% at 10:00 EDT: 1/2% cut for September is now up to 91% chance...November is now looking for another 1/2% cut at 83%...December still 1/4% cut at 66%...January 1/4% reduction by 63%...1/4% cut for March at 64% and then flat at 3.50%. Of course, there's a great deal of fluidity right now, so this is just a snapshot.
