Are you looking to invest in a strategy or trade yourself? How much money are you willing to deploy?

Radiohead, Why the amount of money to deploy question? I hardly ever see someone on this site ask or mention dollars on their trades or ideas.

I'd take a portion and sell index options with it, S&P500 futures options have been my preference for the past 36 years, ouch lol!!  The next year is going to be an incredibly good money income maker as "out of the money" options this year have been great to sell...This year I've mainly only traded calls nonetheless unless the market has corrected hugely and even though we've been up all year its been really profitable.  For example, currently call options are being priced like puts with huge premiums.  I sold the Dec. 6300 call for $14 on 11/8 and today it only has a value of $3 so you could take profits now or profit stop it.

Margin required to short a naked call or put is pretty high.  unless your short spread.  100K is not enough to short a single contract.

no who told you that, if your using the cash market yes but the exact same index movement in futures is only $14,867 and with using incredibly cheap protection it can be down to $3000 per contract.
