Remember, "Partially Long (or Short)" means less than your normal full position. E.g., If you typically use leverage, then 100% long would be "Partially Long".

What if we are partially long not in say, the S&P, Nasdaq, regular run of the mill assets but rather Gold? Or Real Estate? Or Bonds? If there is always something trending up, an indivdual could always be long or partialy long and that would not tell you much about "the market"???? Just wondering here.
