surprising you, do you believe it? Seems to Senor very few are on board and even fewer believe new highs will be seen in the next 2-3 months. Is that correct?
What is your BS?

Looking for a short term peak today or tommorrow, then down to test the lows or maybe even take them out. Longer term bullish into summer 2009.

Action was a little negative today. 3 of the stronger stocks I trade SLW GRS/GAM.to and AUY/YRI.to
Look at the volume on AUY/YRI.to... couldn't fill the gap just above 12. Volume was very heavy with a topping tail on the candle. there is some supply above 12 from longs intiated between April 10- May 10 that will need to get absorbed before YRI can move to new highs.
GRS.... rising on low volume...60% since June 13 th is a good move.. five waves completed witha failure to take out 14.74. we have supply overhead as well.
SLW ... sporting a red candle was the weakest of the three
All three stocks are above the 20 ema 50 dma and 200 dma. Would like to see a period of consolidation to absorb the overhead supply

Hi senor,
I've been away golfing this week.
I'm not doing anything here in PMs. Friday (14th) is most likely the high for gold on this move. Yesterday may have been it for the HUI and the miners. August will provide a better entry for me (hopefully ).
cheers,
john

Hi Dharma,
I have a short focus list and these 3 are near the top of the list. I am more or less out of the spec stocks at the moment and have got a large cash position.
GUY.to
ARU.v
NDM.v
are three specs that have held well throughout the selloff

GDX must retest its Jun 12 low b4 I can consider going long
Middle east exploding, gold rallying and still gold stocks not going anywhere? What does it say?
It is not the doing that is difficult, but the knowing
It's the illiquidity, stupid !

I think the gold stocks are beginin to show a little resilience. I said before, they MUST decouple from the wider market.....AND SOON!!!
