Muppet, I'm also sorry you are having to deal with this. It's scary stuff. Please, do not go into denial about the danger with this guy. Get the mace. Talk to yourself over and over till you know you would use it if you are threatened. If worse came to worse, you would have an opening to escape. And that's the name of the game - not becoming a victim. Once you buy the mace, keep it on you. It will not do you any good in your purse. Or in the kitchen if you are in the another room. So, keep it clipped onto your pants where you can get it in a heartbeat. Put in your hand if you see anything or get a feeling that just isn't right. Better to prepared a million times without need than unprepared that one time you need it. Hopefully, you'll never need it. But if you do, it can save your life. Hang in there. My thoughts are with you. Esther
