This chart shows why....

We're down here on lighter volume today. Level one bullish spring setup starts at 2375 on this light volume. Level 2 kicks in at yesterday's 2359 low.

Now if we get volume at these points we could keep diving quite a bit lower...

Yeah another lucky call... and mine are free. One more thing, we did make a new low in the midday countertrend window, that usually means we're going to test that one... I will be looking for a trend change this afternoon on 5 successive green candles on NAS 3 min.

Semi so far the implied volatilties are saying some sort of a big decline this afternoon or Monday, fyi. The indices are constantly making lower lows based on the IVs. This last rally in the last 30-60 mins did not even register yet in terms of reducing the risk...

I've never seen a trend change on a Friday recently; I'm looking for things to get rather interesting and wild about 2:00 PM EST. MDW [I don't know which icon to place at this time]

The time to be bearish was at 2525 ... 150 pts ago. Don't make the mistake of getting MORE bearish now. Been there, done that. Besides look at that SOX, still hasn't come close to cracking the 449 2007 low. Not saying it isn't coming though.

I agree that this might be all the bears will get until mid next week. Monday must press down hard for further acceleration. So far, I think it will not happen, a bounce is probably in order now...

There's no question about it though... WEEKLY CHART BROKEN ON VOLUME.....Volume candles below do not reflect today's projected 2.2B +
