$/yen right at the bottom of the daily cloud.
I went short at 118.00 and 118.32
very uncomfortable being short, I have to admit
For last few hours, the correlation between Yen-carry and Gold has changed in my opinion. I am not 100% sure about Yen-US indices relationship though....

It's questionable whether Japan was really serious about reducing the carry trade,
or they were putting the scare into the Americans before Paulson's visit on Monday
to discuss trade and currency manipulation.
