I closed those stock shorts to short more index futures... I was going to hold them if they let me to short futures for free.

Boy I hope you are right, Nikkei made an 180 degree turn tonight, trading positive right now...

It's op-ex. If it falls, it'll probably be in the afternoon and most likely on fear of being long over the weekend. IF it gets out of hand and is not prepared for, then things could get ugly. I'm not sure what those etf P/C's are trying to tell us. In any case, we've got a better chance of a crash now than at any time in the past few years. It's still small, though. Mark

Most likely a "But Daddy" Bull market rally today.

I'm a big "but Daddy..." fan, but we're in an intermediate-term down trend and without an adequate sentiment signature for a reversal. Thus, the proper thing to be ready to hear next is "...it's going down NOW"
