I have read many books already but does anyone have any new suggestions. I am going on vacation and need something interesting I really just like to read stock market related books especially older ones. I know there is something wrong with me. I should just read something fun but this is fun to me. I would like something historical. I really enjoyed, "Once in Golconda." recommended here by someone.
The harder I work, the luckier I get.

Try "Trading the Zone" by Mark Douglas. It's an easy read and interesting. Rich

Just finished, "How I found Freedom in an unfree world" by Harry Browne ... not about trading, however, Trader and author, Alexander Elder, recommended it in a recent newsletter and I found it easy to get into and it certainly held my interest (as I dislike "authority" and regulations). It's not a new book. Enjoy your time off! Best, C.C. :P

Try this new one:

"Who's your daddy?" (The DanniLynne story.)

I have not read it yet but understand it could be very long and I may be in it.

Some great suggestions. Thanks guys. Paradigm is intriging like a Da Vinci code for the stock market. I have them all written down and I will let you know how it goes. I have gotten so many great suggestions for books on this site starting with, "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator," and just so many others. I became intrigued with Wyckoff on this site and read all the books by him that I could find. I highly recommend them all. Even though some would dismiss the writings as not applicable to today's market I would think the true traders on this site would find wisdom in his writing. The author was nominated for the Noble prize. It doesn't sound like he is a spam artist.

Enlightening Tales

ISBN 0-932040-48-9

can be ordered from the publisher in VA which is Integral Yoga Publications..or avail in bookstores

the final chapter, The Last Straw, of this book most relates to the foundation of the trading biz or any other endeavor...as it addresses purpose and motivation relative to the big picture of life and love

Highly recommended.
