makes sense to me, tho' I wonder if that is what many traders are/will attempt to do ....look for shorts, and wait too long to cover. I have a position in futures again, after being stopped out on the first try yesterday...but am going to keep quiet about what and how I am trading. Not enough time to update along the way, so no reason to talk about it now. curious if your chartist at CS has a view on yesterday's candle in FCX and likelihood it is actionable? others?...the prior day's candle was also of interest....

ST.com just about fell off the chart yesterday.

I think it means that if you were going to buy or cover shorts, you did it yesterday.
Not much left to do today it seems.

The position poll of today supports your thinking. I looked back to the June - July 06 timeframe for similar SPX moves to gague the sentiemnt for the follwing day and today had more bears (25-30% full) and fewer bulls (30-35%) than those readings. And those readings marked tops.

I think this wave B of the ABC down is close to its peak. We just need to wait for its actual turning point.
