very funny :) When will the trip start? Are you going to hike down to the bottom of the falls?
It is not the doing that is difficult, but the knowing

It's the illiquidity, stupid !

It is seasonal ...but skydiving and parachuting are all-season sports.

I know a few who took off to Costa Rica with a one way ticket on Feb 28.

They used to watch sky a lot.

If you like waterfalls, check out the area west of Portland. There are 7 within easy road access and many more that you have to hike to. Some at least as beautiful as the picture from Costa! ---Out

OK travellers, That could be a picture from upstate New York where I grew up. I live in Oregon and we have falls like that on the coast let alone in the mountains. Hawaii has places even more exotic and tropical. Costa Rica has jungle. Trees create a canopy 60-90 feet over head. Hawaii doesn't have that. The oceans are teeming with fish, sharks... It's not the land it's the nature you see hear and feel there. I was there in '76. Quepos. Sandinista rebels were nearby never saw one. The coka-bola monkeys. The sunrise screams of all the birds. US prices! Is it even more expensive now? It was $4 for a hamburger then. Nice but where do you go in the world now where's it's cheaper than than the US but not crime ridden, not bribing officials, and has inexpensive housing, beaches, mountains? Greece? Portugal? Yugoslavia (Serbia, Croatia, etc.)? Argentina? Panama?
