Even today's selling got nothing.
Maybe tomorrow.
Speaking of window dressing, today I looked at 10 years of history for March and the end of the month doesn't impress me.
Mike Burk's SPX charts for the last 5 days of March since 1987 seem to agree:
SPX Averages:
Day 5 = +0.64%,
Day 4 = -0.03%,
Day 3 = -0.39%,
Day 2 = -0.81%,
Day 1 = -0.47%
5 Day Average= -0.28%
The last 3 years have been worse averaging -1.85% for the week.
