Here is the update for the Overbought/Oversold indicator for the OEX:

It doesn't look like we are done going down yet. The Overbought level will get pretty close to 0 (if not at 0) before we are done. The Oversold level will also come up some more...at least to around 15-20.

leroy, does this work on other indices as well. I'm particularly interested in energy indices here as they look alike a tremendous short setup

Here is the indicator for the OIH as of the close of yesterday:

It seems that the OIH is heading up while the underlying securities are heading lower...a divergence that isn't good. But, you still need a trigger on which to take the trade.
