And here they are in simultaneous Puke Mode...

Simply MRVLous... NOT!! :bones:

Then there's AMD (All My Dough, as in they lost it)

Then there's BRCM (Be Real Careful Mortimer)

Looks like tax-loss bloodletting to me. I can only conclude one of two things is going to happen starting next week. FracMan's Freaky Fractal is one outcome, and the other is they won't be able to get enough of these 3 little piggies...

Are these still following your SOX bullish spring set up post yesterday based on volume, or does todays volume negate yesterdays spring set up?

It's still a spring setup on a lighter volume basis on SMH.. today we break the high volume low of 9/21/06 (33.44 on 38M) Today we'll be about 1/2 that volume. My stop got hit... This is either next week's story or volume comes in and finishes it off...Overall volume is not that high but you know the story on tax loss selling, the Market Makers withdraw liquidity and you get raped if you have to sell. Some of the funds are in that position. Especially on those 3 names above. Fundamentals aren't that good either, but that's a useless argument...

Well, as I said above we either Frac Out or they'll have to buy this group next week. Keep this in mind though. SOX did not test 2007 lows yet... 449. Everything else has... To me, the Nasdaq is either going back to 2251 here or advance to 2619... Should we close tomorrow end of quarter under previous 2007 low of 2394 that's going to be an indication that next quarter will get ugly...I think jury's out and it's going down to the wire here on that front...

Semi Regarding "tax loss blood-letting", recognition of a loss now affects 2007 not 2006 taxes due this April. I see no relationship here. r

Yep, filling another one of those "breakaway" gaps  It's lighter volume though. We either see a big deluge of volume come in and thrash these things now or they'll be buying them next week. Look how the 3 from the Hall of Shame compare to it though... :)

SB has a pretty good grasp of the sector but so do the people i know....who say that once looked at first like a simple cycle top is now looking like something more ominous  .

Yeah I could have phrased it better. But the bottom line is the same, raising cash to pay taxes next month, selling losers...
