Last night, I saw that OEX P/C fall out of bed, and said, "Here they go!" There was nothing that I saw (save that there was nothing that I saw) to indicate that the market was going to rally, and yet SOMEBODY was buying the dickens out of the OEX calls. I'll tell you, watch the OEX nominal P/C ratio and keep one eye on the SPX nominal and $-weighted P/C's, too. Every big move has been telegraphed. Mark

Yes. Jason's (SentimentTrader.com) OEX Determination index which monitors OEX P/C volume and open interest has been outstanding forcasting both significant highs and lows. I think it may be current best single sentiment indication. Latest Low Risk position was simply icing (confirmation) on bull cake. r

All you had to do was go back and look at the last 10 Aprils... this month is a trending month with sharp turns...

Posted Yesterday:

April seems to be a month that for the most part has trending tendencies, with trend changes made on V's and V Reversals, rather than sideways rounded moves. There's a good possibility of a high volume outside day tomorrow or Wednesday. If the bullish trend materializes (and that's what I expect short term), I will be buying semiconductors, not oil stocks.

And while you are looking at April's check out how many times you have one of these LRODs early in the month...

Free? Good luck.
You can get it cheap, though.

You can't get $-weighted info for free. I did negotiate a 10% discount for Traders-talk users.

Use this link to get the discount:

Other P/C's available through CBOE.com and elsewhere. I get mine from Carl at Decisionpoint.com (pay site) and Stockcharts (pay site) and Fari's site.
