A good amount of short covering this morning. This will wear off as the day progress and the indices will close well off the highs.
Expect selling into the jobs number release. Who wants to hold over three day weekend when you can't even trade the data?

personally I am hoping we will go back below 12500 today and sell off but me thinks a test of the gap from 2/27 may be in the works. I would be delighted if it fails to penetrate the gap and sells off hard
