Here we are back at the flat line on the Qs and Nasdaq. There's no fist in the glove. We are pushing a truck up the hill with a shoestring. It won't take any 2 days to get back to the low this time when it fails... won't take much time at all, since we've been here and done that....

They are down to the last 20 minutes here to get this pup up and out today. Who knows maybe we'll get the hostages released, have Osama turn himself in down at the White House, and peace declared in Iraq overnight? Whatever it is, it's going to take one heck of a lot of volume to get over that hump and have any hopes of sticking there...

I've been following $OEX:$VIX and it been on a sell since 1:45pm, just sold my calls for 40% gain. I'm a pussy, probably re-buy tommorow am

It's all tongue in cheek Dennis..but do you realize the last 3 times (not including today) that you said "no risk"...we backed off 20 points or more?

Heck, I'm pulling for the bulls here... I expected more. I need them to break those swing highs... especially on this light volume. I am disappointed.

SB, do you think the semis will dig themselves out of that hole now? It is so far testing resistance from the bottom (smh)...

No, I don't think there's going to be any immediate recovery. I am pretty sure that this semi accumulation is going to continue until a few key earnings reports and some other issues like the MRVL scandal get resolved. So that's just another reason to suspect the Nasdaq won't hold here.

I opened a new position today in QID just nibbling at present. I figure the risk is that we test into the gap above 2470, that's fairly defineable for a stop. I will leave room for a gap and crap scenario, so that's why I am only nibbling here at the old flat line 2455-60. If they can't get through this compression zone then 2394 here we come in a hurry...

I know guys. Volume could be better. I agree. Strange action. But not bearish yet. I sold a little. took profits. You present good arguments. Denleo
