The commercials have largely covered shorts already, it is the small specs who are short and to quote larry williams the public sucks. Zen trader was a bear on this board since 2002 but since the dow made new highs he and other bears went back to hibernate.

Why are you so sure market is "going to gap and crap"?

In your favor is the sds which has closed gap and possibly testing low but qid is going lower.

QID_trader,

You sound a lot like Zentrader. I like your style. :D

What is Zentrader? Is it a market timing service or newsletter? Are they bearish too?

Can you provide a link?

TIA,
-Greg

QID_Trader,

Your thinking aligns with many of the latest internet-educated-economic-gurus-turned-bears out there. Some expect stagflation, some depression, some total armageddon.

Identity debates aside, if you read the entire article linked to in the original article, it is really quite balanced and not at all hysterical. The article notes that if we do have stagflation it may not be as bad as the 70's for a number of reason. Also I think the advice part at the end is excellent (though I must confess I have more than 10% of my liquid assets in resource stocks).
