Evidently, "Pathfinder" opens Friday. They want us to know about it. Actually the site is kinda cool if you're into that thing. Probably worth a gander. Still, I'm a little bit annoyed at the flash banner that they keep running and running and running. They must REALLY want you to click on it (did you know that clicking on ads that interest you helps support this site?). I actually have a bit of a problem with the whole pitch. I mean, would folks even allow a similar ad campaign that touted, "perverted erotic content throughout!"? I'm not saying that every site wouldn't, but it seems much more common and acceptable to tout violence in any media outlet, but much less harmful stuff is largely verboten. I dunno, I suppose it just depresses me. I'll be glad when the darned thing opens and they stop with the ads, I can tell you. Rant off. M

OMG! That's funny. I was thinking, "This looks like something Robert Howard would have written..."

I try to click on ads, but I hate violent and or fntasy films. I clicked and looked at the stills, they were rather beautiful. Kisa should probably comment, but the palatte, composition and elaborate costumes make nice shots. klh

I just watched an amazing documentary on Frank....Wish I could remember the actual title, very much worth while if you're an old fan of his like I am.

I still remember going through Marshalls book store with my father after hockey practice and he would allow me to pick out a book to buy...those Frazetta covers sold it everytime...

Yes Sir, and no doubt.

Frazetta: Painting with Fire

Tough guy; had a stroke, couldn't paint any longer with his right arm, so he did it with his left one.

Dasein: but I hate violent and or fantasy films.

I guess our date for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre marathon is off, then.

frazetta did all the ace paperback covers of edgar rice burroughs different series. great stuff. some covers were pretty racy for a 10yr old to be looking at (1960's). times have changed..

Yup. I read all those, too. The racier the cover, the quicker I bought it. All those Conan's and Tarzan's...
