I always learn something new from the stock market. Lately the market has been trying to tech me that the bull market in stocks is fine without banking and financial companies. In other words, financial boom can continue while financial companies are struggling. Financial stocks are not just a sector like semis or drugs or oil or whatever. They represent what this country is build on -- FINANCE! Not good, boys and girls, longer term not good. Denleo

I think that the message is get out of paper and into solids, like gold or corn. Money is just a commodity which happens to be declining in value currently, as is everything demoninated in money. No panic just don't use money or loans or bonds or banks. That is why stocks are up, in the early stages of an inflation stocks do OK, then they don't do OK when share prices can not keep up with the inflation. I say buy silver and gold the metals are best. Feel better? I know I don't. Islander :bones:
