maybe hanks fractal isnt working here? i mean didnt he say it is eliminated on a new high? we have seen it in the nya and spx not the dow and sox/ndx. just keeping an open mind.

Yes but I think he is looking at Dow Jones

But still the fractal is almost drowning - it has to get above water today or I think the fractal may have to wait until may 10-13

Lots of Hank's fractal work is outstanding. However, over the past couple of weeks I got the feeling that fractals were being sought that actually supported a declining market scenario. That doesn't mean it won't eventually happen--it's just that this market has rallied quite a bit in the past couple weeks.

Exactly, fascinating work!
But of course it's important not to "fall in love" with a specific position

Lots of Hank's fractal work is outstanding. However, over the past couple of weeks I got the feeling that fractals were being sought that actually supported a declining market scenario.

That doesn't mean it won't eventually happen--it's just that this market has rallied quite a bit in the past couple weeks.
