"Retail-level inflation's well contained; March core rate up 0.1%" I'm no advocate of the inflation scenario, but this reeks of manipulation and spin. I'm actually noting a bit of inflation out there. Not a lot, but enough to pick up. I guess that number was "ex-things folks actually buy". Look for both higher and lower prices today.

The "Core Rate" is composed of everything that doesn't go up in price that people don't need. The actual number was .6 which is quite high.

The gas and the food are the basic commodities for the daily life and that's where we put our money.

I don't know about crap. The gap should close this morning; As Mark mentioned the market should be bracketed today.

As Larry Tomlinson once said, the Futures are called that for a reason. They tend to predict the future. Thus, we made higher and lower price in GLOBEX. I expect to see both today. Mark

 Oh Man, it reeks to high Heaven!

I couldn't be a gov't spokeperson coming out with the 0.1% stuff - couldn't keep a straight face.
