I'm no advocate of the inflation scenario, but this reeks of manipulation and spin. I'm actually noting a bit of inflation out there. Not a lot, but enough to pick up.
I guess that number was "ex-things folks actually buy".
Look for both higher and lower prices today.

I don't know about crap. The gap should close this morning; As Mark mentioned the market should be bracketed today.

I couldn't be a gov't spokeperson coming out with the 0.1% stuff - couldn't keep a straight face.
