the 15 day sma resides just below today's trending decline

you be the judge what to do if the 15-day sma is tested.

34.15 and 34.23 represent lows of recent prior days.

delayed daily -

Hey hiker, Just want to confirm... how you use the 200 ema with the 13 min mainly ... do you use it with the 3 min? I noticed that the SPY 3min dropped below the 200 ema today on the GAP down and is now hitting its head on it. Took a short on the ES based on the 13 min chart... though still heading to the 200 ema Thanx again, WC

I use the 200 SMA on all time frames....1, 3, 13, and 60-minute charts. on Page 16 and 17 of Jea's book, he is specific about how to use the 200 SMA on all timeframes page 17 addresses its use on the 3-minute --------- btw, a mentor in futures trading has taught many to use the 260-day ema...note the February/March decline NQ - the 260-day ema is currently at the morning lows of 1738...as of March 1, 9:24 a.m. ET

TS - does your post of the EBAY t/l indicate you are going on the record that the t/l retest or the horizontal breakout retest is a buy, in your interpretation? Is this a buy in your opinion? I remain short, btw....and will continue until I see a buy signal

hiker BASED ON Successful "Breakout Formation", this should be re-entry point. Note SUCCESSFUL Considering other TA factors, you would be bearish. Having said that, fundamental fact looks promising. So far, market is selling off on the news. It just closed the breakout gap. Good trades

thanks, TS. not sure whether it is worth holding onto this short longer, tho' I am for now...take note of the value of the 200 sma on the 60 minute (50-day sma is nearby that value) the 15-day sma has been tested by this trending decline's low just now reached.
