I've been playing this one today. I expect it to close near its high and run a few days. It's earnings are already out and weren't great but the thing went up. It's got a 12 million share float with 8 million shares short.

The shorts are in big trouble as there will not be another possible bad news catalyst to cover for at least 3 more months. I watch parts of his show occasionally and he highlighted DSL. I was skeptical but checked it out for myself and decided to play. If you're a day or swing trader it may be worth checking out.

he made a good argument for DSL last night. Here is the closing basis update of some of his picks that I have followed/traded for a while -

SRCL, BNS and JSDA have been some of the most persistent trenders over time

Agree hiker...sometimes his picks work, sometimes they don't. I've seen these situations get out of control for the shorts. I remember some spectacular runs in RMBS and a few others. I think it's a no brainer BECAUSE the earnings are already out--what's the risk for longs to flush the shorts?....NONE.

The irony of it all is that I was short this one for a brief period of time a couple months ago.

Nope....there's something going on there, though. Pink sheet issues scare me unless I'm very familiar with what's going on with the company.

I'm still long....check out GPOR which I like even better LT. GPOR is a great way to get really nice exposure to the oil sands for free. It's cheap without the oil sands. I'm long GPOR, too, and added a little today.
