Neat charts Roger. Just wondering do you use similar charts with $ndx:$vxn and the $rut:$???
Could be interesting to see how they all react during the day.
Thanks

Yes kemo,
I save these settings on Stockcharts then I can punch in an individual NYSE stock.
I find the SPX:$VIX confirms direction very well.
Trend line breaks in the direction of the tick MA is very telling.
Someone here suggested using the 89 ma on a 5 minute chart. It sems to be a good area where stocks have support or resistance in that time frame.
But on Nasdaq I show QQQQ and I use VXN, TickQ and TrinQ.
For gold stocks such as NEM, in addition to the MACD, ADX, and CCI, I have $HUI, $XAU, and GLD as references.
They are helpful short term to see turns.
Notice that the bus stopped 3 times at $45.20 on QQQQ!
