How long has it been since we've seen a good old fashion SELL PROGRAM? The correct answer is ...TO LONG. One today would be nice. :D

There just is'nt any chink in the corporate earnings to cause a decline of significance. A decline is several months away as of yet.

wouldn't a decline in price precede a decline in earnings?

i remember many a' dumbfounded stock picker in 2000 when the techs began selling off on peak earnings.

If things close out like they look right now, I'm going to join you in the inv dow fund. Looks ripe here for at least a small correction. Let's see how things look nearer the close.

So, you think there'll be no "Sell in May and go away?" Just curious.
Will agree that this bull is blasting ahead ... for the moment.

Sell in May and return in last week of October has been a remarkably good strategy for several decades. There are ofcourse exceptions, but the odds favor the strategy beyond what seems possible. It is so simple to execute also! In my own case, I am hanging on to 40% long and will liquidate before end of May.
