I think big players on the Wall Street knew the durable goods order numbers yesterday and they bought on the rumor. So it's understandable why market held firm after the housing data and ramped up later in the day.

there's new home sales coming and I think it is more important, I might be wrong

hello - the consensus did mention it, from yesterday...
Markets are expecting a boost in overall durables in March due primarily to a sharp increase in aircraft orders already made public by Boeing

yes New home sales is going to be interesting because I think the figure will be flat compared to the prior but the consensus is for a bounce ?
