Hi, 2c, what do you think of AAPL? It has 1 day short interest (according to yahoo). Looking back at its chart, it seems always to move up a lot during the earning weeks but then often dropped back, even below when the moves started.
P.S. KLAC earning tonight, any thouths? Thanks. Always appreciate your posts.
The problem with AAPL is the amount of institutional money that has been filling the gaps for some time. It's a dangerous short any time. I've been short AAPL before with little success. As for KLAC it's one of my favorite shorts and really hasn't acted as well as the rest of the market. I'm still short KLAC and will hold into earnings hoping that the market is ready for a shot of reality. Keep in mind that the semis have broken out and there's a lot of money moving in.

Hi 2cents,
I hope you are the same 2cents from CS board, and I didn't get your response to acknowledge that. buying the dip works extremely well, and may be the market is not the same as before. shorts got killed all the time these days.
good trading.

This is the only board I post on.
