what readings are considered bullish and what would be a bearish reading?

A am no expert on this so I'll let Roger or Mark help us, if they see this thread. "Usually" you see CBOE P/C over 1 on big down days, and the equality and OEX ratios are interpreted differently. By the way, now the 10:30 number shows .67, which then is about normal on an up day.

I don't use them intra day, I look at the $-weighted P/C's during the day. That said, a CBOE above, say 1.25 on an up day is Bullish (sort of), but on weakness, I'd like to see it above 1.5. Even then, I use this as more of a general indicator. It's not reliable in and of itself.
