What happens the year after a new closing high on the S&P if there has not been a record high close for at least a year?

Since 1950 there have only been 11 examples.

Despite what many will say when S&P closes above 1527, it looks safe to get back into the water.

Defenders of the status quo are always stronger than reformers seeking change,
UNTIL the status quo self-destructs from its own corruption, and the reformers are free to build on its ashes.
