Before you start trading get your brain around risk control. Know how much leverage you're using and know when to go to cash if you're wrong.

23% Bulls and 54% Bears.
That's not Bearish, but I hasten to add that LowRisk is actually a less reliable poll AND it only represents part of one sentiment sector.
Still it's consistent with an awful lot of Bearishness in a pretty strong market.
If you get weakness, buy it unless the sentiment changes.

With breadth being as poor as it has on the last bit of the run, Joe Sixpack sees his stocks being taken to the woodshed-while the indexes rise. I'm not surprized that the public might be bearish-and doubt that their stocks dropping is creating a hunger within them to buy more.
