I know this is mainly a TA board and I generally use TA but I am also considering a component based on fundamental valuations. Can anyone recommend a *cheap* provider of historical fundamental data going back to at least 1990 (I'd like to get the "bear" markets of 1990 and 1994 in addition to the 2000-2002 bear). SSB

You should be able to order from the most faded group, AAII

I believe they sell the cdroms with many fundamental fields for all of the companies trading in the US markets...

Capital IQ has better data if you are willing to spend the big bucks...

You might find some interesting products at the Edgar-online too...

Thanks, but AAII seems to only go back 10 years. I found with Worden (TC2000/2003/2007) you can get 20 years for $10 a month on top of their regular fee (which I already pay) so I'm going to try that....

Telescan used to provide historical data but they went out of business or were acquired by
Investools. I would look at the Value Line CD's for data. You can get a 13-week trial for
$ 65 that will give you their entire database in its current state.
