See the three ascending LROD candles on this chart? They all have one thing in common... all turn dates. 4/30, 5/10, 5/24.
If 2541 holds here, and I show probable test, what you have is three LROD ascending candles with higher lows and higher highs coming on volume on turn dates. Notice the symmetry at present. The lows are 8 pts apart, 2525, 2533, 2541. Uptrend still intact.
And, if we turn down this afternoon and can close under 2519, it looks like the upthrust is over

We're dealing with high volume... Today's projecting around 2.5B, that's a lot. Now 2544 was the low from the last day of high volume 2.5B(4/26) We are under that low, we're in a holding pattern, if the volume lets up then a rebound can be expected. If volume continues to rise on the downside the target will be the 4/25 candle a higher volume 2.7B low of 2523.

Small rise tomorrow sometime during the day on much lighter volume than today, followed by an ugly Monday.
