(i don't think painting your new line of appliances shades of avocado is what the tree huggers had in mind :D )

These numbers are more PR bogus pokus. I worked at GE and they simply just change the definition of what's "green." Their gas turbines are a few percent more efficient - now lets categorize that as green. Light bulbs use less watts for same amount of lumens. Shoot, thats got to be green now too. Dishwashers- heck we use less water in this years version (dishes are dirtier) but heck lets call 'em "green." Immelt has the PR thing down almost as good as Welch. he's hanging with Arnold even. Green is Green. $$$ B)



Yet they still haven't cleaned up all of those PCB spills they did over the years. What a corporate steward of the environment.
