It looks like it's seasonal.
Thankfully, this winter's ice blanket kept demand lower than normal.
The miles driven were down for the first time in years.

From Earlier Post

Wednesday, May 9, 2007 - The Transportation Services Index (TSI) rose 1.6 percent in March from its February level, rising after two months of decline, the U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported today (Table 1).

The Novembers are only bidding about $1.95, so unless something really
changes alot, we could be back to the $2.70 area retail. I'm hoping oil
craters between now and then.

Been watching VLO...correlates well with unleaded. Whatever happens the coming weeks, further upside above recent high is limited (without a good shakeout first) IMHO.
