There's justice and then there's just us......

A 21-year-old in Georgia, who has already served 2+ years for having "consensual oral sex with a 15-year old" when he was 17, was denied clemency and ordered to serve out his full mandatory 10-year sentence.

The law under which he was convicted is no longer on the books, having been thrown out by the Georgia legislature as archaic. Curiously, if he had performed intercourse with the girl, he would not have been charged under the bizarre statute which held that "oral sex between teens constituted aggravated child molestation and carried a mandatory sentence."

The prisoner, Genarlow Wilson, was a high school honors student, standout athlete and homecoming king and was preparing for his SATs when he was indicted for oral sex in 2003. And, of course, he is black.

Because of his untimely blowjob, Wilson will also have to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life, says his attorney B.J. Bernstein (not making that up.)

I wonder what her supposed medical problem is that no one wants to talk about? Mental breakdown because she can't deal with it? I had wondered when she went to jail if she were addicted to alcohol or drugs (DUI Right?), maybe her medical problem is withdraw from her drug of choice.

the judge is biased.......the fact is that it is common practice to turn loose misdemeanor violators after a few days by the sherriff as the jails are overcrowded with felons rapists and murderers.....
