The Chinese are going to be major, major buyers of mature market (especially US) equities. I would bet plenty that they invest substantially more than market weight into the natural resources sector. I would make sure you have access to the Canadian markets and build watch lists in industrial and precious metals, uranium, petroleum and even agricultural commodity plays. My guess is alternative energy does well, too. As I look at monthly charts in these sectors I think we're just getting start with many years to go.
The Chinese have 1.3 trillion in the bank and its growing by the tens of billions monthly. This is gonna be a no-brainer, buy the dips for the next few years in those sectors.
