I agree Dave, the market chose to deplete the short term oversold without getting oversold in the longer term time frames and this probably sets up for another decline later in the week, tomorrow or Wed on FOMC. I think the damage will be contained and it should be able to rally thereafter due to the improving internals... BTW, the equity P/C is around 0.73 and OEX P/C is around 1.0. The big declines are hard to achieve from here...

any drop will be manipulated like it always is - nothing should come as a shock at the moment

S&P 500 testing the 50 per cent level now at 1.513...i don't see any serious decline this week from current levels
