I went short NQ 1945. I will post the reasons on my blog in a few minutes.

With all due respect here NAV I think you have it wrong. Not the direction of your trade; your trade itself.
Flat is perfectly respectable position if you don't have an edge. Then of course if you do have an edge you
wish to protect (not broadcast to all with a browser) then .... I feel a bit funny here offering you of all people
advice; so I won't.

Good Luck

jjc,

From an analytical perspective, i am torn as to which direction the market would take here. But given that i am a systems trader, i got to take all the signals from my system. How would i know which signal has an edge or not ? Right now my system says "short" and i am taking it.

Posting my signal will not alter my edge nor will it alter the market course of action. It's just an unfounded paranoia. Or i must be a egomaniac to think that way

Thanks Nav...nice work...but no conclusions ... Here's the ED idea on spx....it really can't make another low ....well...it could...but it's hangin on by a thread....Below June 7 low it's dead and then the next bullish possibility would be that flat ending near 1484. Below that then at least 1460 is in the cards and focus will flip to that oex H&S chart. PS. my ES daily is VERY close to going sell and SPX isn't quite there using the 8 over 34 crosses.

Don't get too excited rkd......1. I'm not that confident in that but if we close today or tomorrow over spx 1519 I'll start liking it...and 2. those red guidelines are just that.....they are not there to display any time line.
