Just didsnt want to risk much this very busy fiesty week.
What instrument do you trade ? ETFs, Futures ??

CFD's. Contract for difference. No cost of carry as seen in futures, and deals are fairly cheap. i got quite frustrated when the futures got whipped about.
When I get into serious taxable territory, I then go into spreadbetting, which is tax free of gains and income for Uk residents. It was very helpful to me last year.
cfd's trade cash market by the way. no messing.

I use deal for free and they charge no commission. However, their spread is about 0.5 point wider than futures, so that is the commission really.
I get a quote on my screen right now dow jones 13404/13408, so 4 points dow, and 1500.6/1501.1 spx.
