Holy Cow Batman... We're on the precipice of a huge move... Where's Frac Man to look at the SOXX when you need him...? Here, just for starters, see what a turbulent force the SOXX is against any weakness in Nasdaq. This started last Thursday and Friday, subsided yesterday on lighter volume and then after a sudden suck-down to the low early today, the SOXX seemed impervious to all the weakness thereafter, that included holding stronger while the Nasdaq made lower lows today. Somebody was expecting Scorch.... we're going to get it.

Yes, we did miss some profits on an early exit on QID, but risk/reward took us out early yesterday when the divergence started... Bottom line, my system is quite conservative, but my trading signals produce consistent profits... If the SOX can break yesterday's high around 501, I expect a pattern recognition, cover and go long from the programs that should be quite an impulse higher....

Just my opinion related to the facts and its not meant to be belittling in any way. Just facts.
One thing to remember about the SOX is ......Its gone NO WHERE FOR A FEW YEARS
I've commented on this for a few months now ...ever since a trendsignals traders predicted a large move up.
Well yes the SOX does move up,...... and it does move down...NOW try and make sense of when it does this.
Hmmm well for weeks and months now the SOX will move up to soften any weakness in the DOW SP OR NDX.
However,..as soon as those market find their needed liquidity,...the SOX FLATTENED right out again and went back DOWN.
A daily HISTORY CHART of the SOX below shows us that,... well let's say since Dec 06 its Up maybe 6 points Palease!
Oh and most of those points come in just today.
That's why the SOX has been the MOST boring thing to watch technically .......imho......since DEC 06 and did nothing to predict
the big move up for most of the other Major Markets into their Historic Rally highs...
.................and it is not going to give you any messages about the Major Markets on the way down either!

Gee, you'll have to explain that to my trading account. Seems to be working JUST FINE...
My trading signals while conservative, are CONSISTENTLY PROFITABLE.
I guess you just aren't a skilled enough chart reader or are just ignoring the divergence.. that is fine too.

Let me add one more thing... markets are not static, they are dynamic.
