what would be a target this morning that might prompt you to buy?
I have already bought it. Why not. I have no doubt that we will close up close to 100DOWpoints today.
P.S. This is a hell of a gift by the bull gods, but I am sure the bears will be be highfiving when we are down 100points[if we get their], and most imporantly hey will shorting their pants off.
They will of course be maximum short just b4 the scorch

Well, in for a penny, in for a pound.
Still, you've been buying all the way down, haven't you? What makes you think this time will be different?
I'd say that 10:30 might be the time to nibble.
Maybe.

I'm flying blind here at the moment. I dont' have any more downside targets. We're there.
So, I think we watch for signs of a turn or something to lower risk and nibble for a bounce.
The low's probably not in, however.

thx mark.....fwiw I have 1480ish support (only support if it holds ) on the cash index. we just ~ tagged it in the futures
The history of action around the FED meeting would hint at a strongish opening; Distribition again
around 10:30 w/ a revisit of the lows in the afternoon.
When I get a chance (later today) I'll post a chart with price overlays from the last x meetings for tomorrows
trading.

smart or dumb money?
Very smart....meaning they usually get paid ,..but that doesn't mean you can't benefit from what they'll do next.
