Well not that my style, can benefit anyone else but me ...... but I've flipped from long...as I have a rule to take 3% Up move days as the RUT closes in on 1.5%x2. Now... I move back over to being SHORT

Closing those late day longs was especially a good idea in my opinion.

If your heart is set on them ...just buy em back the first hour if we dip!

Good luck!
Well done! ;)

Has the potential of your cross-over buy signal been fulfilled?

Thanks

thnx dev! almost 3 points, not bad. i only manually trade es/nq/oex, etc.

yes, i plan to re-enter all longs tomorrow, the overbought conditions are quite severe on the 30min and even 60 min charts. once those get worked off, off to the races again

Not sure which chart you're referring to.

My short term charts are on a buy from oversold conditions... the weekly charts are still down.

Dev Trading 101 says :
In this case we as traders should be exiting our longs... as we move up,,... and as we test resistance

along with the daily and weekly sell signals,.,...we re enter shorts on these price spikes higher.

hmm, NQ and ES 30 min charts look badly overbought to me judging by the rsi/stoch and macd. after a day like this, how can they not be? daily is still oversold. the plan is to work off the 30 min conditions and re-enter long which will then bring us to levels we could probably short at. however resistance on spx is fast approaching in the form of the broken bottom channel.

Daily what is oversold?? I have it low but not really oversold... it does have a hook so maybe after we

sell off these ST overbought values,.... the daily will have a chance to fight the weekly sell..

The weekly is no where near oversold by the way!

perhaps we have different ideas of oversold.

Full STO is below 20 on SPY and that to me is oversold. I have seen worse, but it's definitely more OS than anything.

Agreed on weekly, but i never use those to trade - just to give me a sense of where we are and the weeklies are still hanging in there.

You flip more frequently than I dev, so its reasonable for you to go short.

Hi Dev, I'm referring to this chart

http://www.traders-t...showtopic=71996

remember it worked great some weeks ago in connection with the +400 drop in Dow
