Posting great earnings one after another, and have been sold out and downgraded to hell. Very good relative strength last couple dayts with new legislation coming out. I'm long AVR, USBE, BIOF, ANDE. Looking at VSE too. The whole darn sector looks good, considering the prices on oil keep rising. Also picked up a new Solar play .. YGE. They are building wafer capacity in China. As you know, there is huge shortage of polysilicon wafers in the world, that restrains growth in solar panel deployment.

I'm kind of long the basket. Equal amount in Each, plus a little bit of ADM. The big corn guy. My favorite play in ethanol is BIOF, though. They don't have any plants online yet, but its a big holding of the Third point Hedge fund. Daniel Loeb owns a tonn of it himself. They will be a big winner. First 2 plants coming online in the first quarter of 2008. And one more end of 2008. High capacity 115 mil gallon plants. Cargill is a big shareholder there too. You can bet that this company will have the top notch management. And they will probably do secondary when Ethanol stocks warm up again. Because they already have sites for 2 more plants. And will need financing. So the stock will be most likely ran up into that big time. Long term play. Very quality people behind the company.

There's also a new kid on the block, AENS. Iowa start-up, they're just in the building-the-plant stage. IF they manage to get production up and running, should be good. Or they'll go under before then..... DYODD
