it worked...I am now fully out of all longs (sold on strength today) , except a few...reentry on pullbacks or advance..either may work from here tho' a bit tricky Mark, you said quants usually do not work cause they can be counter-gamed by black box systems..well here is one that worked...data from June 27th below SPX - 11 for 11 up avg 3.1% 3-weeks out when: snp sets 20-day low (yesterday) snp down 'big'*** (yesterday) full moon 3-days out (friday) *** percentage decline of more than one standard deviation below the average one-day percentage change measured over the last 30 trading days stat table that followed is omitted and not shown...stats were run on the period 1983 to 2007
