The daily drives the other time frames ....not viceversa

Almost every bear i know, shorts when the DAILY is up, based on hourlies. That is knowing the fact that the daily drives the lower timeframes. In that sense, it's a lame argument. :D

One has to trade the timeframe of their choice and concentrate on signals in that timeframe alone. Otherwise too much clutter and indecision in pulling the trigger.

Heck i can short the market when the daily is up based on my hourly and make money and vice-versa. And i have been showing that for years.

Kisa, The market just answered your question. IWM had an obscene rally into the close with a horrible A/D line. The A/D line at close was 68% : 28% (Decl : Adv).

Well, you and my ballsier subs made it today. I advised them to go long circa 154700 given or take at 3:10-3:20. I was going to busy for a bit and didn't want to trade it for the track record without watching so I let them do it on their own. I was watching for it, and just knew it was going to rally. Then I saw that things were turning up and that was good enough. I wish I'd see you were long, I'd have taken the trade for myself and the track record too. :( Nice trading thus far, anyway.

Mark,

Beleive me, it wasn't a easy trade at all. I have had many easy trades where i collect 8-10 ES points in 60-minutes. After i took this trade, i had to take heat for nearly an hour, putting doubts in my mind about the validity of the signal. Finally, i had to force myself away from my laptop and go watch the T.V, just to escape my urge to close the position. All big moves do all kinds of crazy dances, before they impulse away........

I am pretty impressed with what a few large cap and leadership stocks can do to the indices at the close. I scalped, I wish I went fully long...
