I think his indicators (just like all other indicators) work only on the up side. He had some great calls when he was buying. As soon as he began shorting, he run into problems. Denleo

I used to post on the IHUb board and have learned a lot from Aire, he is a good trader. he has ran into problems shorting lately but so have I. I see what he is saying and will stay short myself. before when that indicator crossed below the line it indicated a bottom was close and was confirmed by RSI. Now there is quite anegative divergence there, I'll stay short.

i'm in complete agreement re indicators at tops vs bottoms. even the cycle work i do is being affected by the powerful trend of the cycles larger than the 4.5 yr/48 to 54 month cycle.

the INDU envelope/NYSE breadth system has done well at important tops, it too will have to prove itself in the current environment.

INDU made new highs tuesday at the upper envelopes as the NYSE 21 day mv avg went negative. that has in the past been a pretty reliable sell signal based on price history back to the 70's.
