The credit spreads (charts) will widen even more, not good...

USDX index weights:

USDEUR: 56%
USDJPY: 14%
USDGBP: 12%
Total: 84%

and others...

The interest rates futures are turning sharply higher now, are they exiting the US assets?!?

Yep. Dollar isn't helping. Remember, falling dollar = good for earnings ? :D Falling dollar = bad for all dollar denominated asset class. Period. Earnings falling short of very high expectations don't help the case.

What's really not helping here is the dollar fell and the earnings are still not that great, I think this trick worked for about 3 quarters, but now the expectations were probably too high... On an interesting note, look how the closing call volume was yesterday, buying aggressively the close?!? 9:00 AM 243288 106827 0.439097 60931 89756 1.473076 304219 196583 0.646189 9:30 AM 173396 84420 0.486862 37590 124053 3.300160 210986 208473 0.988089 10:00 AM 149185 65064 0.436130 36985 63838 1.726051 186170 128902 0.692389 10:30 AM 140435 61821 0.440211 52464 91009 1.734694 192899 152830 0.792280 11:00 AM 113814 57311 0.503550 28860 24239 0.839882 142674 81550 0.571583 11:30 AM 74510 56092 0.752812 15861 34272 2.160772 90371 90364 0.999923 12:00 PM 86525 46959 0.542722 36543 41216 1.127877 123068 88175 0.716474 12:30 PM 77107 48060 0.623290 15412 20869 1.354075 92519 68929 0.745025 1:00 PM 57178 39056 0.683060 8683 39354 4.532305 65861 78410 1.190538 1:30 PM 69099 54923 0.794845 54882 46766 0.852119 123984 101689 0.820178 2:00 PM 81314 41092 0.505350 28986 45458 1.568274 110300 86550 0.784678 2:30 PM 74710 51979 0.695744 14929 23795 1.593878 89639 75774 0.845324 3:00 PM 135496 80181 0.591759 24384 65055 2.667938 159880 145236 0.908406 It is interesting to note that even the index guys bought calls in the afternoon at some point. Heavy call speculation in the morning stopped the index from closing the gap, it seems.... - kisa (30 min equity calls puts ratio, index calls puts ratio, total calls puts ratio)

Kisa, those are treasury futures....up is good (i.e. lower rates). Did I misread your post?
