The Rasmussen Consumer Index slipped about a half a point on Wednesday to 114.7. The Index has been in the range of 110.3 and 115.5 over the past week. Today's reading is around the same level as it was a week ago and is nearly nine points above its reading a month ago.
Nationally, 40% of adults rate their personal finances as either good or excellent these days. That's compared to 39% who claim their finances are fair and 19% who say their finances are poor lately.
After holding steady for two consecutive days, the Rasmussen Investor Index climbed two points today. At 144.5, Wednesday's reading is five and a half points higher than it was a week ago and is nearly twenty points greater than its reading a month ago.
