Thanks, Spooky

Your comment on Qs? You are bullish. It closed at critical support as most of major markets did.

Yes, bullish on the Q's, until they break support, and tell me otherwise. If we backtest that price channel, and continue to head up-the width of that channel points a long way up. Entry on the backtest would seem to provide a low risk high reward situation, with proper stops-at least to me. Spooky

Yes, Not sure who called 911 to pull sell-trigger, maybe it was me, but note that all candles are hitting the bottom of BB or pierced through it in climactic volumes.

Suddenly, U.S. market is falling apart, the end of the world - who pushed panic ?

At the same time, everyone was piling on to contra ETFs with huge volume like massive migration.

Interestingly, I posted contra ETFs on 7/20. Talking about migration.

Now, if you can re-migrate all 2X shorts to Long side and Buy on oversold Qs, then, market will shoot to upside.

We had record short interests and now we have record volume on 2x short ETF side.

Speaking of QID and QLD.. this chart shows the volume ratio between QID and QLD with Qs overlaid.

Note that for some time, the ratio of QID/QLD volume has been increasing, which may indicate preference to trade in QID products. At the black line drawn, the volume ratio has flipped and now the ratio is decreasing, which may indicate preference to trade in QLD products.

The red line is merely 20SMA of the QID/QLD volume ratio.

dcengr, Thanks, I posted QID and other 2x ETFs on 7/20 on my board. Since then, the volumes sky rocketed as well as major markets. Am wondering, are you a perma bear, or did you make up your mind that we are entering bear market based on your fractal analysis?

I was thinking choppy down for 1-2 months and then a hellacious rally to january of 2008 before a market top. But long term projections are mostly for fun only.

It seems to me that we're dropping too fast, and it needs to bounce here. Whether that bounce is a big bounce or a small one before further down, you got me.

I'd like to see the Retail Only Buy to Open (ROBO) p/c ratio plummet before I think an IT bottom might be in tho.. perhaps see a bit of a run on II and AAII ratios too.

Fractals are great except when they don't work.

What you have describe is what I commented a couple of weeks ago. I am waiting for a confirmation at the major supports which I noted on my previous posts.

We will see a confirmation during the next week.

Fractal analysis is interesting and is certainly helpful. I think that those who studied "History" would be loving Fractal Trading.

Good luck
